Coda appoints Moonmoon Varma as Chief People Officer

SINGAPORE, 6 October 2026 – Coda today announced the appointment of Moonmoon Varma as Chief People Officer, strengthening its global leadership as the company continues to scale.

Moonmoon is the latest addition to Coda’s leadership team, following the appointment of Freddy Dijkman as Chief Financial Officer in July and Abhi Sharma transitioning from his previous role as CFO into the role of Chief Operating Officer.

As Chief People Officer, Moonmoon will lead Coda’s global People & Talent organisation, with responsibility for people strategy, organisational development, talent and culture. She will work closely with Coda’s leadership team and colleagues across Asia, Europe, the US and the Middle East.  

Moonmoon brings more than 20 years of HR leadership experience across Asia Pacific and Europe. Most recently Chief People Officer at Yum! Brands, she previously held senior HR leadership roles at Visa and Credit Suisse. Originally from India and a long-time Singapore resident, she has lived and worked across APAC and Europe. Her experience spans organizational transformation, talent, culture, leadership, and scaling global teams across large multinationals, high-growth businesses, and complex regional organizations.

The appointment follows two other senior leadership changes at Coda this year. Freddy Dijkman joined as Chief Financial Officer in May, after serving as Chief Financial Officer at Recharge, which Coda acquired in 2025. He leads Coda’s global finance organization, with responsibility for financial strategy and supporting the company’s long-term growth.

Abhi Sharma, previously Coda’s Chief Financial Officer, moved into the role of Chief Operating Officer earlier this year. He now leads global Operations, Legal & Compliance, Payments, Risk & Fraud, and Corporate Development, with a focus on execution, operational discipline, and stronger coordination across the business.

Together, the appointments bring deep global experience across three critical areas of the business and position Coda to move into its next chapter with greater focus, confidence, and ambition.
