Refunds policy/right of withdrawal

In the European Union (“EU”)/European Economic Area (“EEA”) or the United Kingdom (“UK”), customers have a right of withdrawal for certain transactions under the applicable EU or UK regulations, and this policy sets out the terms for which EU/EEA and/or UK customers may exercise such rights. This right of withdrawal can be excluded for certain Digital Products after the conclusion of your purchase and the service has been fully performed.

Statutory right of withdrawal

If you are purchasing a Digital Product available on the Web Store, you have the right to withdraw from such purchase within 14 days after your purchase without giving any reason. The EU/EEA/UK statutory right of withdrawal ends 14 days after your purchase or the moment you start using, activating, redeeming, or consuming the Digital Product for the first time (whichever is sooner). However, this right of withdrawal does not apply to the purchase of direct top-ups for any products, mobile applications or gaming titles (including but not limited to direct top-ups in mobile games or other mobile applications) which are considered to be used, activated, redeemed or consumed upon delivery as these Digital Products are provided or delivered to you immediately (or within a short period of time) after the purchase and you will have expressly consented to the consumption of the Digital Product immediately upon conclusion of your purchase and acknowledged the forfeiture of your withdrawal rights.

You acknowledge and understand that transactions successfully made on the Web Store are final once your right of withdrawal expires (unless we agree otherwise on a case-by-case basis). No returns will be accepted, and no refunds will be issued unless expressly specified otherwise in these Terms and Conditions. In the event that a refund will be made to you after dispute and/or error handling as outlined in the Terms and Conditions, the timeframe to credit the refund to your bank or payment service account will depend on the method you used to make payment in the initial transaction, and shall not exceed 14 days after the day of your withdrawal decision being informed to us.

Coda Netherlands is obligated as a merchant to inform you of the right of withdrawal in very specific legal terms which are set out below. If these should in any way differ from any of our informal wording on the same, these terms shall prevail and apply to an EU/EEA/UK consumer.

Right of withdrawal

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us, Coda Netherlands Holdings BV, Strawinskylaan 411, WTC, Tower A, 4th Floor, 1077XX Amsterdam, support.eu@codapayments.com, Attention: Customer Support, of your decision to withdraw from the purchase by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, or e-mail). You may use the below model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

You can also complete the below model withdrawal form and submit it or any other unequivocal statement on our website by following the instructions to Submit a Request or to support.eu@codapayments.com. If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall refund to you all payments we received from you in respect of the relevant transaction, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from the purchase. We will carry out such refund using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such refund.
